A well established and growing business organisation is currently seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join their team. A busy and varied role, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business.

The candidate must be a team player with good all-round internal and external communication skills in a pressured environment. Preferably the candidate will be able to multi-task. The company will support the right candidate with continued in-house training, enabling them to be successful in this role.

Role description

The role of the Delivery Driver is to provide a pro-active and efficient delivery support service to our Grilles department.

Responsibilities

• The successful applicant must be physically fit, due to lifting heavy loads
• Must also have good customer service and communication skills, as they will be dealing with our customers daily
• Will have the ability to work on their own and be part of the transport team
• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given
• Due to the nature of the position, early starts may be required
• Must have national multi-drop experience and must have excellent knowledge of the national motorway network

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a personable and friendly individual to provide a first-class service to our customers. As a delivery driver, you will be working alongside the Grilles department as the last point of contact with the customer.

You will need to ensure that company obligations, health and safety requirements and customer service levels have been achieved in the unloading of products into customers businesses/homes. Completing multiple daily deliveries, you will also work closely with the Grilles department staff, assisting in the handling and loading of orders to ensure the perfect condition of our products when they arrive in our customer’s home.

Candidate requirements

• UK/Euro driving licence to have been held for longer than 1 year
• Drugs and alcohol test – conducted at no cost
• Ability to commit to working 9 hour shifts
