Detective Ralph discovers part of our exhibition cage

Office puppy Ralph is already increasing his skillset at Cross-Guard by taking on detective duties. We shared news in a previous article about his success in sniffing out clues to discover the mystery product creation we’ll be taking to the show stand at Data Centre Frankfurt this November. He already discovered that a security grille will be included in the stand show product although he has yet to work out which grille. If you know the answer, tweet us @cross_guard_uk!

This week, Ralph has been hounding our engineering department again, after learning how to operate our phone systems. Since the team stayed quiet, he decided to try the factory, as the product is already being manufactured.

After all his hard work, he made a discovery near our Trumpf machine. One of the panels in production contained 1.5mm hexagonal holes. Ralph believes this will be one of the panels for the display product that will be showcased at the Data Centre World Frankfurt event. He thinks it’s a great idea to show visitors to our stand the different hole patterns that can allow a more aesthetically pleasing look.

Security cages with 1.5mm holes are popular in data centres that require higher security, as the smaller space makes it more difficult to use tools to break in or gain access to the data centre space. The hexagonal pattern in particular offers an attractive design. As a bespoke security caging provider, Cross-Guard can offer a variety of different styles of cage with different repeat patterns of varying sizes.

So, to wrap everything up, what do you think? Is Ralph barking up the wrong tree, or will part of Cross-Guard’s show product include a security cage panel with hexagonal holes? If you’d like to know for certain, visit us at Data Centre World Frankfurt, 13-14th November 2019, Stand 198.
