Title: Production Manager
Cross-Guard, a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation, is currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team. A busy and varied role, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding business. The candidate must be able to cope well under pressure, as well as being a team player with good all round internal and external communication skills. They should also be computer literate with all aspects of Microsoft Office, with the ability to multi-task. The Company will support the right candidate with continued in-house training, enabling them to be successful in this diverse role.

The Role:
The role of the Production Manager is to provide a pro-active and efficient managing of the production facility. Reporting to Cross-Guard’s Operations Director, they deal with the daily running of the production across fabrication, painting and finishing.

Responsibilities:

• Production efficiency and targets.
• Managing all production staff.
• Developing internal team leaders and supervisors.
• Staff recruitment and discipline.
• Production planning.
• Liaising with logistics department on delivery scheduling.
• Delivering high quality across the site on time.
• Maintaining accurate training records.
• Interdepartmental timely communication.
• Responsible for, and set an example through, health and safety.

Who we’re looking for:
The right candidate will be accustomed to working in a busy manufacturing environment and possess excellent attention to detail. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (in particular Word and Excel), the right candidate must be confident, possess a ‘can-do’ approach to work, and a professional manner.
