Cross-Guard to exhibit at Data Centre World Frankfurt, 2019

Following the success of Data Centre World London, the team at Cross-Guard have decided to also exhibit at the Frankfurt event. Data Centre World Frankfurt is an annual event and takes place this year from Wednesday 13^th November to Thursday 14^th November.

As part of ‘Tech Week,’ which is the largest technology event in Germany, Data Centre World Frankfurt welcomes over 6000 visitors from across the globe, including many senior decision makers.

Aisle containment for the German market

With average high temperatures of around 25°C through the summer months, data centres in Germany are exploiting the benefits of aisle containment solutions. Cold and hot aisle containment help data centres globally save money and increase energy efficiency and power usage effectiveness. Cross-Guard will be highlighting the proven benefits of its cold and hot aisle solutions compared to other containment and cooling solution providers.

Data centre security in Germany: security cages

Following a data breach where hundreds of sensitive political documents were revealed, the German government enforced further data security laws. While increasing cyber security, it’s also important to consider the role physical security plays in data centre security. Cross-Guard will be showing the range of different high-strength security cage options available for data centre protection. These security cages are bespoke-made to client requirements and can be retrofitted or installed in even the most challenging environments.

A sample of our Ventis server safe door will be available on stand at Data Centre World Frankfurt to highlight the strength of material and manufacture.
