Cross-Guard is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bradbury Group Ltd, specialising in Cold/Hot Aisle Containment, and the physical security of servers and other IT equipment and Cash and Valuables In Transit (CVIT). Through Bradbury Security, Cross-guard is the SOLE UK MANUFACTURER of:
• Cold and Hot Aisle Containment Solutions
• Connexions Server Caging and Partitioning
• Ventis Server Safes and Cabinets
• Bespoke Security Solutions including Secure Cash Transfer Units and Secure Walling

The Role:

• Selling to Data Centres, Consultants & End Users
• 70% new business, 30% Account Management
• Excellent progression and earning opportunities
The Sales Manager is required to sell the complete range of Cross-Guard’s product portfolio into Data Centre sites and direct to the end user. With the role being heavily focused on new business, the Sales Manager will need to be target driven and conscientious.

For this Sales Manager role, we are looking for an individual with the following qualities:
• Proven B2B and new business sales experience
• A relevant and up to date set of contacts within the industry
• Conducting site visits
• Producing full quotations
• Overseeing the sales process from cradle to grave
• Upselling alternative company products to existing clients to generate further revenue streams
• Delivering both new business and organic growth through forging strong relations and providing effective innovative solutions
• Self-starter, dynamic and driven
• Understanding of Datacentres and Server Caging would be ideal
• Effective written and verbal communication with good presentation skills
• Organised and efficient
• Ability to meet and set targets and deadlines whilst managing a range of concurrent activities
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative and to be a good team player
• Planning, coordinating
• Sales forecasting
• Influencing and negotiating
• Rapport building with clients and colleagues
• Empathy and being able to put yourself in the client’s position
• Good commercial acumen – ability to liaise with a range of contacts across small to enterprise level businesses.
• Experience of trading and shipping to Europe would be an advantage
