Latest developments: Cross-Guard’s brand new website

In uncertain times, we understand it’s even more important to continue to provide the best support possible to employees, clients and stakeholders, and to make the process of partnering with Cross-Guard as easy as possible. That’s why we’ve given our website a complete refresh this time. Rather than making subtle design changes, we’ve worked with supplier Cardell Media to create a completely new website based on a new brand to deliver maximum usability and ease of journey.

So, what’s different? Below, we’ve summarised some of the key design changes for this website, but please do feel free to take a look around the site to see for yourself. We’d love to get your feedback.

Mobile first: ultra-responsive design

The new website has been developed not to just be mobile responsive, but to be mobile first. What does this mean? It means the design was based on mobile, and then the principles extended to desktop. This ensures that in an age where people like to be a click away from getting in touch on their mobile device, the website is optimised to perform at its best. With ‘click to call’ buttons, all you have to do is tap on your mobile, and you’ll get directly through to us, should you have any queries or requirements. We’ve also added some subtle animation for an extra bit of spice!

New: branded video and brochure

Alongside the website, we’ve also made some tweaks to the brand. We’ve added Black to our brand colour palette, as it works well with the Dahlia Yellow, creating a sharp contrast to enable users to read text more easily. The changes to the brand come with a new brochure and company video, which provides a comprehensive picture of who we are, and what we do. On our website homepage, you’ll now also find some of our most frequently asked questions. If you need a quick answer, you may well find it there. Otherwise, we’ve made it easy for you to get in contact with us. You can either call, email, or submit a query on our live chat. Our expert Sales team will be able to advise you in a professional, friendly manner.

Ease of transition between our Security Grilles sub-domain

You may have already noticed that our security grille products are actually on a separate sub-domain – grilles.cross-guard.com. Previously, it was not always explanatory how to transition between this sub-domain and the main Cross-Guard website. We’ve now made it so when you click on our ‘security grille’ product link, the sub-domain will open in a new tab, allowing you to easily switch between the two websites. In addition, we’ve added an easy, quick-tap button the security grilles sub-domain that you can click to return to the main website.
