Cross-Guard to exhibit at Data Centre World

Cross-Guard is exhibiting at this year’s Data Centre World exhibition at the London ExCeL, 11-12^th March. We previously released an article on Cross-Guard’s upcoming presence at the event with details on the company’s security and aisle containment solutions that will be showcased on stand D1180. Within that article, we also hinted at a new competition Cross-Guard will be launching. We’re pleased to now share further details on this.

Can you hack IT?

Our new competition is a ‘Safe Hacker’ game. If you visit our stand (stand D1180), you’ll find a glass cube with a key combination lock attached. It’s your job to hack the safe by cracking the combination lock. We’ll provide you with a selection of codes and you get to pick just one. If your code opens the safe, you’re onto a winner, and you get to choose which prize you’d prefer. Prizes available include: a bottle of prosecco, high-quality headphones, an Amazon Alexa, and Cross-Guard’s exciting mystery prize.

Raising awareness of Cross-Guard’s Ventis server safe

The Safe Hacker competition is a fun game to play at the exhibition, but it serves a wider purpose of highlighting its lack of security. Having a secure safe to contain servers and important IT equipment is vital, as loss of sensitive data can lead to loss of customer faith, fines, and further complications. The competition safe is compared with our Ventis server safe, which we’ll also be showcasing.
