Increased strength and resistance: announcing the latest cold aisle door

At Cross-Guard, product improvement is something we pride ourselves on. It’s important that companies continue to adapt to market needs and demands, always finding further ways to add value for clients.

This week, our engineering team have been hard at work on a new double-skinned cold aisle containment door. The new end-of-aisle enclosure door will contain two sheets of steel to make a thicker (38mm thickness) door.

Compared to the current cold aisle door that has 25mm thickness, the new aisle enclosure door will be stronger and more resistant. It will also have the additional benefit of a cleaner, sleeker design that is more aesthetically pleasing, as the thicker steel hides essential components from view.

The initial prototype has already been successfully manufactured, and we have now also sent this product to one of our clients. We’re certain it will provide an attractive solution to all our clients moving forward. The increased strength offers enhanced protection for servers, preventing theft of valuable data and the potential for crippling fines.
